I just went to a buddies house yesterday and listened to this!
he had the remastered 2 CD + DVD set. The 2nd CD is demos + live stuff!
nice artwork on the cover as well…
I still think my fav. Fates Warning = The Spectre Within esp. the song “The Apparition”.

Yeah, I go back and forth between Spectre and Guardian. Spectre is the king of Fates Warning riffage, but Arch’s vocals and harmonies on Guardian are insane.

“Awaken The Guardian” is such a great Metal album… back when I first bought/listened to it, it was over my head… in a fantastic way. Yes, the artwork I revere too. Just a great song and album to bring out in the open once again.
