Sean, that’s really all that any of us need to say. And is there any metal musician who has been more universally respected as a PERSON than RJD? I can’t think of one. Everywhere you look, people talk about how kind and gracious he was. I saw online yesterday where that lunatic church in Kansas is protesting his funeral and saying all sorts of awful things about him. Wendy Dio, as usual, was classy in her response. I first became a Black Sabbath fan at age 3 (seriously!) and I’d fall asleep listening to side 1 of Master of Reality. As much as I love Sabbath with Ozzy, RJD had far and away the more powerful voice of the two and it’s obvious which one aged more gracefully:) RIP RJD…and thank you for a lifetime’s worth of incredible music. “You’ve got the power…stand up and shout!”
